Volunteers Needed

Land O'Lakes International Development Division is implementing a USAID-funded project in Kosovo under a subagreement with International Refugee Committee (IRC) working with producers of tree fruit crops.  Volunteers are needed in Kosovo for the following:

 
1.  General Orchard Management for tree fruit crops including apples, pears, plums (June-3 weeks)
2.  IPM/Pesticide Safety Training/Assistance for tree fruit crops (July-3 weeks)
3.  Fertilizer and Water Management for Orchards (July/August-3 weeks).
 
All expenses are paid under the Land O'Lakes project; all logistics arranged by Land O'Lakes.  Volunteers are briefed before departure and debriefed upon return.  Volunteers receive per diem to cover daily expenses. Interpreter and driver provided in-country.
