Manufacturer to Cease Production of Chlorpyrifos
Corteva Inc., the manufacturer of the controversial insecticide chlorpyrifos will stop producing the chemical this year. Chlorpyrifos has been linked to neurological damage in children and has frequently been the target of recent regional and state-level legislation. Read more on The Californian.
Kellogg Commits to Phasing Out Pre-Harvest Glyphosate by 2025
At the end of 2019, Kellogg made a commitment on it’s Open for Breakfast website to phase out glyphosate as a pre-harvest desiccant on wheat and oats by 2025.
