Webinar: Decolonizing Agriculture thought Indigenous Regenerative Thinking

August 27, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

This conversation will approach regenerative agriculture from an indigenous perspective. First, Mr. Haslett-Marroquin will tackle what it means to design a regenerative farming operation and exactly how a farm, a region or the ecosphere for that matter actually regenerates. This will also dispel the myth that inputs from outside a system are necessary, organic or not. Following will be an exploration of the details of a Regenerative Poultry system that Mr. Haslett-Marroquin engineered with teams in Guatemala, Mexico, Pine Ridge, SD and Northfield, MN. At the end, the participant should have a better sense of why the work is called regenerative indigenous thinking and will have learned how the center of the work with regenerative poultry is also central to understanding the regenerative indigenous design for other livestock options across the landscape.
