Weeds: Nature’s Graffiti – How IPM Can Fix That

April 11, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Learn how to observe your school grounds with an eye toward identifying weeds and their locations. This webinar will provide you with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) based control tactics for common weeds. IPM is an approach that uses a hierarchy of practices, including exclusion, sanitation, biological, and mechanical methods, to reduce unnecessary pesticide exposure while providing sustainable pest control.

You’ll learn about landscape design solutions, such as underlayments and mow strips, to address weed issues, cow path and desire lines. A grounds manager will recount his school’s challenges with weeds on the grounds and athletic fields and offer guidance for developing a successful IPM program.

This webinar will empower you to implement improvements in your weed management program.
Space is limited to the first 1,000 to attend. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to join the webinar. Register here.
