CA Department of Pesticide Regulation’s Pest Management Research Grant Solicitation Now Available

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation’s (DPR’s) 2017/2018 Pest Management Research Grant Solicitation is now available. DPR’s Research Grant Program will distribute $500,000 to help fund projects that develop effective alternatives to agricultural fumigants and projects that assist in developing IPM to reduce risks from high risk pesticides. Depending on available funding, the total will be augmented to $1,100,000. DPR will consider proposals requesting $50,000 to $500,000, for terms of up to 33 months.

The DPR will hold two optional informational events: a teleconference to answer questions about the grant program and the application process and a webinar to explain the technical aspects of using the FAAST online application submission tool.
