CA Department of Pesticide Regulation’s Pest Management Research Grant Solicitation Now Available

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation’s (DPR’s) 2017/2018 Pest Management Research Grant Solicitation is now available. Oak Wilt Detected on Long Island

New York State’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Department of Agriculture and Markets (DAM) recently announced that oak wilt has been detected in the Central Islip area of the town of Islip, Suffolk County on Long Island in New York. $36.5 Million Announced for Specialty Crop Research and Extension Investments

U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recently announced 19 grants totaling $36.5 million for research and extension to support American farmers growing fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture and nursery crops including floriculture.
