Hannah Kasun

Hannah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Music Performance and a certificate in Food Systems. Hannah has always been drawn to food as a place of impact, believing that it is the way in which our daily lives most directly and frequently connect us to the environment. A passion for solving problems and promoting food system sustainability led her to her work with the Sustainable Food Group, where she has helped a variety of companies pursue sustainability goals involving supplier engagement, pesticide risk reduction and regenerative agriculture adoption. She also co-manages the Sustainability Standard certification and enjoys the associated challenge of thinking about how sustainable agriculture can work at scale. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys cooking (specialties include butternut squash mac and cheese and Thai peanut and quinoa salad) as well as gardening and teaching music.
