Nikki received her M.S. in Environmental Conservation from UW-Madison. The program culminated in a capstone project with Conservation International, related to sustainable development and gender equity in southern Suriname. She has a passion for sustainability across sectors and wants to see an equitable distribution of the benefits of sustainable practices. Nikki is a part of the IPM Institute’s Sustainable Communities Group team. She contributes to many projects, including Pest Defense for Healthy Schools, Green Shield Certified and Midwest Grows Green. At a young age, Nikki developed a love for the environment while adventuring in the woods and taking care of her vegetable garden. She has many interests, including food, animals, art, nature, baking, traveling (12 countries so far!) and playing guitar.
