I had hoped to hire a student to make better use of the Apple Talk blog by now, but have had little success. So today, I just added all of your email eddresses to the blog notification page so that when something new is posted to the blog, you will know. If you want to be removed from this system, let me know.
You will still need to visit the page for downloads, photos and such. (And Jason, Matt, John and Kristin – feel free to post topics on the blog as well.)
A reminder that All Networks will be meeting at DATCP on Monday November 13th to review the year and plan for the next. We have funds to cover honorarium for at least 6 growers from each network to help defray your travel expenses. Contact me for more details. You don’t need to RSVP for this meeting, but it would be helpful to know if you plan to attend. Most of our discussion will be on money – what we’ve got to spend and how best to use it (in-field supplies, travel, workshops, etc..). Chippewa Valley growers requested that we do a short training on the pesticide use software so I’ve contacted the software developer to see if he could join us via phone for an hour that day. There are EQIP up-dates and data analysis to share, too. Marketing is also certain to be a topic, as well. I plan to send a paper agenda out to everyone next week.
