The 2018 National Conference on Urban Entomology and the Imported Fire Ant Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Cary, NC, May 20-23, 2018. The Planning Committee for the Symposia would like to hear your ideas for a 1.5 or 2-hour symposium.
Those interested in organizing a symposium should provide the following information:
1. A brief outline that indicates the symposium title and justification
2. A tentative list of speakers, presentation titles, and duration (90/120 min)
3. Contact information for the organizer(s)
Proposals should be submitted to the planning committee by Wednesday, May 17, 2017 by submitting the requested information here.
Organizers’ ultimate responsibilities will include ensuring speakers submit titles and abstracts in time for publication of the program and that a moderator is designated for the symposium.
The NCUE/IFA Planning Committee will communicate decisions to Organizers in early June. Please email with any questions.
