Agricultural Risk Assessment

The Agricultural Risk Assessment allows companies to identify agricultural risk hot spots in their supply chain and sets them up to take meaningful action to address these risks. To accomplish this, Sustainable Food Group conducts a comprehensive evaluation of environmental and social risk, by crop, in a company’s agricultural supply chain.

Using national datasets, Extension resources and peer reviewed research, we assess risks in the categories of soil health, water quality, fertilizer use, climate, labor and habitat and biodiversity. Topics of focus can be tailored according to company goals. Upon project completion, we provide an interpretation of the results and an outline of recommended next steps for your company.
