Office of Pesticide Programs will register flutriafol for use on apples

Hello, Tree-fruit folks:
Just passing this along, FYI. It looks like, absent any final public comments, the Office of Pesticide Programs will register Cheminnova’s fungicide flutriafol (TopGuard) for use on apples (and soybeans) to control a number of fungal diseases.
You can follow the link below to the public docket for this decision at http://www.regulations.gov , where a draft label is available. If you have specific comments on this registration decision, you are welcome to add them to the docket, following the instructions on the page. The 30-day comment period ends April 19, 2010.
I’ve sent this to all the tree-fruit horticulture and plant pathology contacts in my address book, but I’m missing George Sundin in Michigan, Janna Beckman at Purdue, and all the specialists at Minnesota (!). Hopefully that will change as I continue to meet people in Region 5 (*and* take their business cards!). Thank you in advance for forwarding this message to them and to anyone else I’ve omitted.
