Ella earned a B.S. in Agronomy and a certificate in Organic Agriculture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where IPM was a fundamental concept of her coursework. During her time at the university, Ella was a member of the Badger Crops Club, where she travelled throughout the country to participate in intercollegiate crops judging competitions. She also fundraised at the Sun Prairie and Monroe Street Farmers’ Markets by selling fresh sweet corn and pumpkins grown by members of the club. She comes to the IPM Institute with a passion for regenerative agriculture and public health, which drives her work in the Specialty Crops and Sustainable Communities branch of the IPM Institute. In her free time, Ella enjoys cooking, baking, spending time in nature, visiting farmers’ markets and local bakeries, and spending time with her cat, Zorro.
