Rory earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management with a Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Growing up across various U.S. states, Rory explored each new home through its cuisines, communities, and natural landscapes. Her upbringing fostered a deep appreciation for the power food has in connecting people to their environment and to each other. Rory brought this passion to college, where she worked on a student-run organic farm and completed internships in campus sustainability and food accessibility. Through these experiences and time spent in the classroom, Rory learned the importance of prioritizing supply chain sustainability in food production to ensure a healthier, more equitable, and balanced food system. As a coordinator for the Sustainable Food Group, Rory helps to support and facilitate projects that engage companies with sustainable food production practices, aiming to achieve better outcomes for both the planet and people. Outside of work, Rory enjoys exploring new restaurants, attending concerts, thrifting, and trying to find the best cup of coffee in Madison, WI.
