EPA Region 5, based in Chicago, is soon going to be hiring people to join us in meeting this commitment. This work calls for scientific capacity to help the Agency identify and address disproportionate and cumulative environmental and human health impacts as we carry out our programs. It also calls for partnership and coordination – working with state and local governments, and engaging with community advocates and residents, to advance community well-being and resilience.
