This is very short notice, but we learned today of a training opportunity for Homeowners and very small commercial growers. If you have been wondering where to send any neighbors or customers who want to better manage their trees, tell them about this short course:
Horticulturist Bob Purvis will teach a 12-hour short course, “Fruit Growing for Homeowners”, from 6-10 p.m. on Fri., March 14 and from 8:15 a.m.-4:45 p.m. on Sat., March 15. (This would be highly beneficial for small commercial growers too.) The location is The Harbor Church in Hastings, MN on US Hwy 61 right beside the River Oaks Golf Course, about 4 miles N of the Mississippi River Bridge. Cost of the course is $79.
